JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Nov. 15, 2018) – Lt. Jason Shaw, a chaplain at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, discusses an upcoming deployment with a sailor. The Navy Chaplain Corps celebrates its 243rd birthday on Nov. 28. It’s comprised of over 1,000 chaplains from more than 100 faith groups (including Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and Buddhism).
