Ronald Place (director, National Capital Region Medical Directorate, Defense Health Agency), addresses Naval Hospital Jacksonville staff during an all-hands call at the hospital on Oct. 23. On Oct. 1, NH Jacksonville, including its five branch health clinics in Florida and Georgia, became the first Navy medical treatment facility to transition to the Defense Health Agency and establish a Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command.
