Matthew Case, Naval Hospital Jacksonville commander, along with senior leaders from the Defense Health Agency and Navy Medicine, discuss the future of local military – civilian partnerships, along with Duval County Medical Society, Humana Military (TRICARE East contractor), Mayo Clinic, St. Vincent’s HealthCare, and University of Florida Health at a meeting at NH Jacksonville on Oct. 23. On Oct. 1, NH Jacksonville, including its five branch health clinics in Florida and Georgia, became the first Navy medical treatment facility to transition to the Defense Health Agency and establish a Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command.
