JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Oct. 23, 2018) – Capt. Brian Weiss, Naval Air Station Jacksonville executive officer, talks with senior leaders from Naval Hospital Jacksonville, Navy Medicine, and the Defense Health Agency at the hospital on Oct. 23 about the medical readiness of operational forces. Leaders from Patrol Squadron Thirty, Fleet Readiness Center Southeast, Region Legal Service Office Southeast, and Patrol and Reconnaissance Wing Eleven also participated. On Oct. 1, NH Jacksonville, including its five branch health clinics in Florida and Georgia, became the first Navy medical treatment facility to transition to the Defense Health Agency and establish a Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command.
