    Airman 1st Class Nicolas Peterson, 570th Contingency response Group, Travis Air Force Base, Calif., mops the floor of the gym at an air base in Southwest Asia on Aug. 25, 2011. The gym and other buildings around the base are being cleaned in order to support follow-on troops that will be deployed there. The base, which closed in 2004, is being re-opened to conduct missions supporting Operation New Dawn.
