Vincent Sipinga, an assault amphibious vehicle (AAV) crewmember with Alpha Company, 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion, 2nd Marine Division prepares a towline for a notional vehicle breakdown during a deployment for training (DFT) exercise at Fort Stewart, Ga., May 22, 2018. Marines must be prepared to retrieve and repair AAVs in the event of a breakdown.
