Pfc. James Hall, engineer, 336th Engineer Company, employs the splash method to fill his knotted Army Combat Uniform trousers with air to create a makeshift flotation device on Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif., Aug. 6. Hall is participating in drown-proofing classes which teach water survival. The engineer soldiers are on Fort Hunter Liggett for their annual training in support of Castle Installation Related Construction.
