Ceiba, Puerto Rico, April 28, 2018--FEMA Region II Deputy Administrator Dr. Ahsha Tribble addresses media and survivors as part of the 2018 Hurricane Hunter Expo sponsored by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the Puerto Rico Emergency Management Agency (PREMA) held at the José Aponte De La Torre Airport. Emergency management staff rely on data collected during Hurricane Hunter aircraft missions for hurricane preparedness, response and planning operations. The National Hurricane Center uses the information compiled to learn the strength, speed, wind and direction of storms and hurricanes to predict the potential path of weather events.
