Ceiba, Puerto Rico, April 28, 2018--National Hurricane Center Meteorologist, Daniel Brown (left) and National Hurricane Center Director, Kenneth Graham (right) participate in the 2018 Hurricane Hunter Expo sponsored by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the Puerto Rico Emergency Management Agency (PREMA). Emergency Management personnel rely on data collected during Hurricane Hunter aircraft missions for hurricane preparedness, response and planning operations. The National Hurricane Center uses the information compiled to learn the strength, speed, wind and direction of storms and hurricanes to predict the potential path of weather events.
