Ceiba, Puerto Rico, April 28, 2018--Survivors of Hurricanes Irma and Maria look at the interior of the fuselage of one of the aircrafts that previously flew through Hurricane María, as part of the 2018 Hurricane Hunter Expo. This activity was sponsored by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the Puerto Rico Emergency Management Agency (PREMA). NOAA Hurricane Hunters fly weather missions from the Atlantic Ocean to the Hawaiian Islands, fly into typhoons in the Pacific Ocean and gather data during winter storms. The 2018 Hurricane Hunter Expo encouraged its more than 13,000 visitors to prepare for the upcoming hurricane season, and allowed the public to know what a Hurricane Hunter aircraft is and what it does. FEMA collaborates with other agencies, distributes educational material and information on emergency preparedness. Eduardo Martínez/FEMA
