A naval warship, visible in the foreground on the left side, is underway at sea alongside a second vessel silhouetted against a bright sun on the horizon. The two ships appear to be conducting a parallel transit or formation sailing exercise on calm open waters. The image is taken from the deck of the foreground warship, providing a perspective looking forward and to starboard.
