GREAT LAKES, Ill., (August 9, 2017) -- Rear Adm. Stephen C. Evans is "piped ashore" following a Change of Command ceremony in the Midway Ceremonial Drill Hall at Recruit Training Command (RTC), the Navy’s only boot camp, on Naval Station Great Lakes, August 9. Evans was relieved as the commander of Naval Service Training Command (NSTC) by Rear Adm. Mike Bernacchi. Evans will report as Commander, Carrier Strike Group Two, embarked on board USS George H. W.
