Capt. Darin Sweet stands to be recognized at the NHL All-Star game in Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 30. Sweet received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart in Afghanistan after sustaining injuries during a fire fight and displaying great acts of heroism. Sweet was invited by the NHL to pre-game festivities, a meet-and-greet with the players in their locker room, and was given floor level seats to the game.
