CAMP PENDLETON, California (May 11, 2017) U.S. Marines with Battalion Landing Team (BLT) 1st Bn., 4th Marines, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, pose for a picture aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., May 11. The BLT is the ground combat element for the 11th MEU and consists of an infantry battalion, which is reinforced with an artillery battery, amphibious assault vehicle platoon, combat engineer platoon, reconnaissance platoon, M1A1 Tank platoon, and a light armored reconnaissance vehicle platoon.
