MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, California (May 11, 2017) A Marine with Assault Amphibious Platoon, Company B, Battalion Landing Team 1st Bn., 4th Marines, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), embraces his mother during a homecoming event in Camp Pendleton, Calif. May 11. The MEU Marines and Sailors returned home to bases and stations throughout Southern California after a seven-month deployment to the Western Pacific, Middle East, and Horn of Africa.
