    USS MAKIN ISLAND, Pacific Ocean (April 14, 2017) U.S. Marine ordnance technicians with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 163 (Reinforced), 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), move two Mk.82 500 pound High Explosive bombs to be loaded onto an AV-8B Harrier as part of a bilateral training exercise conducted with the Malaysian Armed Forces, April 14. While being deployed with a MEU, the main mission of an ordnance technician is to maintain and load ordnance onto aircraft to support various missions. The Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group/11th MEU is currently deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations in support of regional security and stability. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
