A U.S. Navy helicopter, numbered 611 and marked 'NAVY', is hovering low over the flight deck of what appears to be the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier. Deck crew members in colored jerseys are actively working around the helicopter, with some appearing to handle a tether or cable connected to the aircraft. The overcast sky and open ocean horizon confirm an at-sea carrier flight deck operation.

PACIFIC OCEAN (March 17, 2017) Sailors assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) off-load ammunition from the fight deck with an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter, from the Eightballers of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 8. Nimitz is currently underway conducting Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) with the Nimitz Carrier Strike in preparation for an upcoming deployment. COMPTUEX tests a carrier strike group's mission-readiness and ability to perform as an integrated unit through simulated real-world scenarios.
