Two naval warships are operating in close proximity on open blue ocean waters under a partly cloudy sky. The vessel on the left bears the hull number '116' and displays design characteristics consistent with a Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) destroyer. The vessel on the right, partially visible, appears to be a US Navy warship based on its gray hull configuration and deck equipment.
