4th Inf. Div. Band Plays 4th of July for Iraqi President, U.S Ambassador, M

BAGHDAD -- Staff Sgt. Gary Corbitt from Grand Prairie, Texas, puts his heart and soul in to a country song outside the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad. The 4th Inf. Div. band and the Royal Marine Corps Band from Great Britain were invited to play for the holiday, which included a ceremony featuring high-profile guests His Excellency Jalal Talabini, president of the Republic of Iraq, U.S. Ambassador to Iraq Dr. Zalmay Khalilzad and General George William Casey, Jr., commander, Multi-National Forces-Iraq. Eight-year Army veteran Corbitt sings with Stony Creek, the country band ensemble, and also plays saxophone for the Iron Crawdad?s brass jazz group.
