Maj. John Elko, assigned to 3rd Brigade, 1st Armored Division, currently serving as a liaison officer to the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army’s 3rd Armor Division, receives a gift from Brig. Gen. Fakhri Khilifat, the commanding general of the 3rd Armored Division, Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army Jan. 9, 2017 in Jordan. The ceremony concluded a 15-day training exercise in Jordan that focused on NCO development and interoperability of U.S. and Jordanian armored forces. The NCOs worked together to plan and execute armored operations, sharing the combined experiences of the Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army and U.S. Army.
