U.S. Army Spc. Sherry Alexander, California Army National Guard combat medic, assesses a manikin for injuries during a mass casualty scenario at the final field training exercise of a 10-Day 68W/EMT Sustainment Course in Lorton, Va., Nov. 18, 2016. The course, taught by Walter Reed National Military Medical Center instructors, provided the fundamentals of Tactical Combat Casualty Care, from the point of injury through evacuation in a tactical environment.
