A maintenance worker at the Haitian Police Academy inspects concertina wire he helped place near a damaged section of wall on the academy grounds earlier that morning. Capt. Derek Bowen, engineer, JTF-Haiti, and Maj. Scott McMahon, engineer, JTF-Haiti, went to the academy to show a group of maintenance workers how to place the posts holding the wire into the ground and then how to string the wire. The academy wishes to secure the damaged wall before they restart classes. United States Agency for International Development requested engineers from JTF-Haiti to give a class to Haitians so they could secure the wall themselves.
