Gloucester City, N.J., resident, Maj. John Billings, and Staff Sgt. David Clingain, from Brooklyn, N.Y., display their unit's Welcome Home Plaque and Yellow Banner upon its return from a deployment to Iraq during a ceremony held at Army Support Activity-Dix's Chapel 5 May 10. Their unit, the 1479th Civil Affars Company, is an Army Reserve organization out of Fort Tilden, N.Y., and mobilized out of Dix last May. The Yellow Banner is given to units who mobilize through ASA-Dix as a symbolic gesture that they are in the thoughts and well-wishes of the ASA-Dix community. The banner is hung in Infantry Park while the unit is deployed and given back to the organization upon its return from combat.
