Havana Fla., resident, Chief Warrant Officer 1 Sharon Serrant, and Staff Sgt. Marc Nicolas, from Miami, Fla., fasten their unit's Yellow Banner to the line during a ceremony at Army Support Activity-Dix's Infantry Park May 10. Their unit, the 912th Human Resource Company, 7th Platoon, is an Army Reserve organization from Miami, Fla., and will deploy to Iraq to conduct military post office operations. The Yellow Banner is given to units who mobilize through ASA-Dix as a symbolic gesture that they are in the thoughts and well-wishes of the ASA-Dix community. The banner is hung in Infantry Park while the unit is deployed and given back to the organization upon its return from combat.
