    Members of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) perform a traditional dance at Five Hills Training Area, Mongolia, during an Exercise Khaan Quest 2016 cultural night, May 27. Khaan Quest cultural nights are hosted throughout the exercise and foster togetherness among the participating countries through the sharing of traditions and customs. Audience members enjoyed dance and musical numbers performed by members of the JGSDF and were invited to dance during the final song. Khaan Quest 2016 is an annual, multinational peacekeeping operations exercise hosted by the Mongolian Armed Forces, co-sponsored by U.S. Pacific Command, and supported by U.S. Army Pacific and U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific. Khaan Quest, in its 14th iteration, is the capstone exercise for this year’s Global Peace Operations Initiative program.
