Recruits of Fox Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, stand in formation during a series commander inspection at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Dec. 28. Being properly aligned to the recruit on the right is important for the recruits to get used to because alignment is something drill instructors grade during drill. This is the second of four inspections recruits experience during recruit training. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Fox Company is scheduled to graduate Jan. 29.
