151001-N-UY393-023 SAN DIEGO (Oct. 1, 2015) – Ship’s Serviceman 3rd Class Ana Saucedo, assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), restocks the ship store temporarily located on America’s barge. America is currently undergoing a post-shakedown availability (PSA) in which the ship’s crew and assigned contractors make improvements to the ship’s design.
