The aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan passes by the guided-missile destroyer USS Chafee while steaming towards Pearl Harbor, Hawaii in preparation of a scheduled port visit, Oct. 13, the U.S. Navy's 234th birthday. The Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group is on a routine deployment, currently operating in the U.S. 3rd Fleet area of responsibility.
