Chief Warrant Officer Ryan Skopek, helicopter pilot with Alpha Company, 2916th Aviation Battalion with U.S. Army National Training Center Fort Irwin, stationed at Barstow-Daggett Airport keeps an eye on gauges in the Black Hawk aircraft as they escorted a Lakota aircraft on its final voyage with the crew, from Daggett to Woodland, Calif., July 13. The Lakota helicopter's final destination will be the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence at Fort Rucker, Ala., and will be the center's primary training aircraft for flight school students while they are first learning how to fly helicopters.
