James Bailey, crew chief with Alpha Company, 2916th Aviation Battalion with U.S. Army National Training Center Fort Irwin, stationed at Barstow-Daggett Airport, observes progress of the flight and takes pictures with his cellular phone out the side window of a Lakota helicopter as lead a formation with a Black Hawk aircraft over central California on the Lakota's final voyage with the crew, from Daggett to Woodland, Calif., July 13. The Lakota helicopter's final destination will be the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence at Fort Rucker, Ala., and will be the center's primary training aircraft for new flight school students.
