Best Warrior Staff Sgt. Amanda Cady, a 412th Theater Engineer Command Soldier from Stafford, Va., searches a vehicle for explosives during the 2015 Combined TECs' Best Warrior Competition. The mystery events were search a detainee, search a vehicle, disassemble, reassemble and perform a functions check on an M-249 Squad Automatic Weapon and a M-240B automatic rifle. Soldiers also had to qualify with a M-4 rifle and a M-9 pistol. The 36 U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers from the 412th and 416th Theater Engineer Commands met Fort McCoy, Wis., April 25 to 29 to represent their command in the competition. One noncommissioned officer and one enlisted from each command will compete at the next level, the U.S. Army Reserve Command competition May 3. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt. Roger Ashley)
