Best Warrior Cadre load 9 mm ammunition into M9 pistol magazines for the weapons fire as part of the 2015 Combined Theater Engineer Commands' Best Warrior Competition. The mystery events were search a detainee, search a vehicle, disassemble, reassemble and perform a functions check on a M249 Squad Automatic Weapon and an M240B automatic rifle. Soldiers also had to qualify with an M4 carbine and an M9 pistol. The 36 U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers from the 412th and 416th Theater Engineer Commands met at Fort McCoy, Wis., April 25 to 29 to represent their commands in the competition. One noncommissioned officer and one junior enlisted Soldier from each command will compete at the next level, the U.S. Army Reserve Command competition May 3. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt.
