PJ Steewyk makes his mark on a memorabilia banner during Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Day at the Charlotte National Guard Armory, July 26. The banner was covered with handprints and signatures and it will be hung in the Family Readiness Groups office at the armory. The event was structured to bring attention to PTSD in a positive manner.
Several veteran organizations were represented and many companies such as Patriot’s Path, Respite.org, Charlotte Bridge Home, Home for Heroes, Mindbodystrength.org, Military Lifestyle Charitable Foundation, United Services Organization (USO), and Operation Homefront provided information and giveaways.
