Members of Elevation Church provide candy cups for the attendees of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Day at the Charlotte National Guard Armory, July 26. Emily Greenwood said church members made the cups as a group activity and it was nice to see them being passed out. The church volunteers also provided hot dogs, burgers, and sno-cones for attendees. Many companies such as Mindbodystrength.org, Military Lifestyle Charitable Foundation, United Services Organization (USO), and Operation Homefront provided give-a-ways and several veteran organizations were represented at the event; which was structured to bring attention to PTSD in a positive manner.
