Members of Elevation Church serve hot dogs, burgers, and sno-cones to attendees of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Day at the Charlotte National Guard Armory, July 26. The volunteers also donated handmade candy cups with thankful sentiments to soldiers written on them. Emily Greenwood said church members made the cups as a group activity and it was nice to see them being passed out. Many companies such as Mindbodystrength.org, Military Lifestyle Charitable Foundation, United Services Organization (USO), and Operation Homefront provided give-a-ways and several veteran organizations were represented at the event; which was structured to bring attention to PTSD in a positive manner.
