North Carolina service members and their families learn Zumba moves during Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Day at the Charlotte National Guard Armory, July 26. Carry Bandy, an organizer of the event and a Veteran diagnosed with PTSD, wanted to bring attention to the disorder in a positive manner. Prodigy GT, a local band, performed, there was a bounce house to amuse the kids, and people dipped their hands in paint to leave a lasting impression on the program banner. Several veteran organizations were represented at the event and flyers and brochures about programs to help children of PTSD service members were on display. (Photo by National Guard Sgt.
