    Air Force Maj. Gen. Timothy J. Lowenberg, the adjutant general for the Washington National Guard, shakes the hand of Staff Sgt. Lowenberg visited 81st BCT Soldiers in Ramadi and Balad during his two-day trip. More than 2,400 members of the Washington Army National Guard's 81st BCT are deployed to various bases across Iraq, including Al-Asad, Q-West, Balad and Al-Taqaddum, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. This is the second deployment for the 81st BCT.
