Hawijah City Mayor Sabhan cuts the ribbon signifying the grand opening of the first Iraqi police station in the city of Hawijah, Iraq, Aug. 10, 2008, as Col. Kevin Brown, deputy commanding officer, 1st Brigade, 10th Mountain Division assists. Col Sarhad, Kirkuk province's outer city police chief, Lt. Col. Fatah, Hawijah city police chief, and Maj. Gen. Jamal, Kirkuk provincial police chief also participated in the ceremony. "This is another shining example of a return to normalcy for the people of Hawijah," Brown said during the ceremony.
