    "You should be proud of your efforts," Maj. Gen. Jamal, Kirkuk provincial police chief told the crowd attending the grand opening of the city of Hawijah's first police station, Aug. 10, 2008. He credited Iraqi security forces, the coalition force, and the Sons of Iraq for their combined efforts in "restoring peace to a once troubled area."
