Company Delta, Destroyer, 2nd Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment Soldiers question villagers in Hegnah, Iraq during Operation Summit Pursuit, July 27 - August 5, 2008. Destroyer moved approximately 30 miles southwest from Kirkuk city to join forces with the 1st Battalion, 87th Infantry Regiment's efforts to flush out and destroy the remnants of al-Qaida in the northern regions of the districts; Hawijah and Sharqat and to garner Iraq- Commander's Emergency Relief Program funds for schools, medical clinics and the like in villages once terrorized by AQI.
