Sentry Savannah is the Air National Guard’s premier counter air exercise for 4th and 5th generation fighters that showcases the nation's combat aircraft readiness. This exercise is held annually here at the Air Dominance Center, one of four Combat Readiness Training Centers in the United States.<br /> <br /> Fighter Units from across the country come to Savannah to train together in integrated tactics such as ground training, offensive/defensive counter air missions, cruise missile defense and weapon drop training on the range.<br /> <br /> This year 9 units and over 60 aircraft are participating in Sentry Savannah 2022, the Air National Guard’s largest air-to-air, 4th and 5th generation fighter exercise, to showcase the nation's combat aircraft readiness.
