Sgt. Matthew Dickson, the noncommissioned officer in charge of the mobile blood drive team for the Robertson Blood Center, performs a needle chest decompression on a mannequin during his Expert Field Medical Badge certification testing, May 1. The EFMB is one of the toughest noncombat awards for Soldiers and officers in the medical corps to earn. Out of 261 candidates, only 44 earned the right to wear the badge.
