Sgt. Matthew Dickson, the noncommissioned officer in charge of the Robertson Blood Center’s mobile blood drive team, treat’s a role player’s eye injury during his Expert Field Medical Badge certification testing, May 1. On Combat Trauma Lane 1, candidates had to complete 11 of 14 tasks correctly in order to pass the station. It proved difficult for some candidates because if they performed one step in a task incorrectly, they would fail the task.
