ANSBACH, Germany — U.S. Army Garrison Ansbach and the City of Ansbach signed a mutual aid agreement Sept. 11, strengthening emergency response cooperation between U.S. and German fire and emergency services after honoring the lives lost in the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
The agreement was signed following a memorial ceremony at Katterbach Barracks marking the 25th anniversary of 9/11. The event brought together host nation partners, city leaders, emergency responders, and military community members.
