Command of Naval Air Station Corpus Christi changed hands July 1, when Capt. Christopher Jason turned over the helm to Capt. Ty Jurica, during a change of command ceremony at the air station. Jason also closed out a 25-year career during the event.
A proclamation recognizing the first Intergovernmental Support
Agreement (IGSA) between Nueces County and Naval Air Station Corpus Christi (NASCC) was signed on Nov. 22.
Judge Barbara Canales of Nueces County, Texas, and Capt. Christopher Jason, commanding officer, NASCC, entered into this partnership, which will support mission resilience and local jobs.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held recently for an Aircraft Corrosion Control Facility aboard NAS Corpus Christi.
ACCF provides a critical capability in the Corpus Christi Army Depot being able to perform its mission to overhaul and repair helicopters.
