Misawa, Japan ( 19 Aug., 2026) - U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning II's from the 35th Fighter Squadron depart from Misawa Airbase to participate in the Red Flag Alaska 26 exercise. The annual exercise readied Airmen and joint partners, engaging them in offensive air contingencies and force employment training in a simulated combat environment.
