The 305th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment (MPAD), based at Fort Shafter Flats in Honolulu, Hawaii, provides public affairs support throughout the Indo-Pacific region. As a U.S. Army Reserve unit assigned to the 9th Mission Support Command, the 305th MPAD supports commanders by telling the warrior's story through words, imagery and digital media. The unit is made up of Soldiers trained in photography, videography, writing, broadcast and social media. Whether covering training exercises, field operations or community events, the 305th captures and produces content that highlights Soldier readiness, mission impact and partnerships across the Pacific.
