The Pacific Press is an authorized Army publication produced bi-annually by the 305th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment. It is intended to keep USARPAC-SU Soldiers informed of current and emerging developments in their units and the greater U.S. Army. The opinions expressed in The Pacific Press are of the authors and not the Department of Defense or its elements. U.S. Army Pacific - Support Unit is a U.S. Army Reserve unit with formations in Japan, the Republic of Korea and Hawaii.

The 305th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment (MPAD), based at Fort Shafter Flats in Honolulu, Hawaii, provides public affairs support throughout the Indo-Pacific region. As a U.S. Army Reserve unit assigned to the 9th Mission Support Command, the 305th MPAD supports commanders by telling the warrior's story through words, imagery and digital media.
The unit is made up of Soldiers trained in photography, videography, writing, broadcast and social media. Whether covering training exercises, field operations or community events, the 305th captures and produces content that highlights Soldier readiness, mission impact and partnerships across the Pacific.
Prepared to deploy when needed, the 305th MPAD supports operational and strategic communication efforts in both training and real-world environments.
