Tradition and competition thrived at dining facilities across Fort Drum on Nov. 22 as culinary specialists of the 10th Mountain Division (LI) put forth their best efforts to earn the title of the Commanding General’s Best Dining Facility for Thanksgiving.
Leaders manned the serving lines in their Army service uniforms as Soldiers flocked to the dining facilities in droves.
The ability to better train Soldiers in tactical combat casualty care is now available for the 10th Mountain Division (LI) brigade combat teams at Fort Drum. Medics received instruction on how to operate state-of-the-art simulation technology Nov. 9 at the Training Support Center here in order to bring the most realistic training possible to Soldiers.
In a non-descript building tucked away among the pine trees of North Carolina, 24 Officers of the Egyptian armed forces are here as guests of Special Operations Command-Central to take part in a scenario-based information exchange alongside U.S. Military information Support Operations and Civil Affairs Soldiers from Sept. 14 to Sept. 25 at the Special Operations Mission training center.
