A Stinger team from 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team fires a FIM-92 Stinger at an "Outlaw" drone from a firing point at a Polish Air Force range in Ustka, Poland on the Baltic Sea. Soldiers from across the brigade were conducting a capstone event following a month-long certification course taught by brigade Air Defense Battlefield Management Operators. It marks the first time an armored brigade combat team was able to provide instruction and fire live missiles in order to certify Soldiers as Stinger team operators.
